The Effingham Athletic Department runs an Athlete of the Month program each month. Athletes are nominated by head coaches and then voted on by all coaches. Winners receive recognition and a Treign Athlete of the Month shirt. Nomination criteria is as follows: -Stats -Accomplishments -Character -Coachability -Leadership -Sportsmanship "Kloey is a floor leader that gives 110% all the time in games and practices, she is always the 1st one to give teammates encouraging advice in good times and bad and everyone feeds off her energy on the court, she is a very coachable athlete and is a sponge when it comes to learning plays or correcting little things, she sets a good example for others by always having a positive attitude." - Coach Mike Depoister
